During the month of May Veterans reflect and celebrate Memorial Day, a National Day of Remembrance to commemorate all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in military service for the United States. On this Federal Holiday all flags on public buildings are flown at half staff from dawn until noon. American flags are placed on the graves of the deceased, and at 3:00pm the Nation has a Moment of Silence. The Veterans Club invites you to observe the Moment of Remembrance with us. We will have a moment of silence followed by the playing of Taps. (Please plan to arrive no later than 2:45pm. Chairs will be provided.
